Mary Poppins

marypoppins posterMusical season has begun, or as Jared Long likes to call it, “the best time of the year.” The show dates for the spring musical of Mary Poppins are March 16, 17, and 18 at the Ward Road east campus.  The work  started early this semester to make it what music director Mr. Welsh each year calls “our best show ever.” Rehearsals began on Monday, December 5, with an all-cast read-through, and blocking and music rehearsals followed that week as everyone started getting into character and learning lines and music. Mark your calendars now to see senior McKenna Gubanich in the title role, as Mary Poppins and junior Jared Long as the unforgettable Bert. Other stars include Avery Leopold, Claire Goodwin, Ramya Sinha, Robbie Vigil, Gabby Bazz, Carmen Nocera, Katelin Miller, Josiah Piper, Gray Evans, Andre Roth, Cole Thomas, Landon Ford, and Trevor White. Don’t forget to buy tickets and go see the show in the spring, because you don’t want to miss out on this amazing performance.
