adminhasz atdesk2Greetings to the amazing Faith Christian Academy Community!

What a privilege it is to serve side by side with staff and families who love Jesus and desire to see our children know God and make a difference in this world as they live out their God-ordained purposes.

I must start by thanking all of you who have been praying for me and our entire school during this time of transition – your prayers are certainly answered daily (and please don’t stop).  Many of you have asked how the year is going and how I am doing in my new role.  I am learning so much every day, and by God’s grace, we have had a great start to the 2017-18 school year.  My heart is filled with excitement for what God has in store for FCA.  Already we are seeing God working in our midst as our students pray for each other. Students on all campuses are committing their lives to Jesus.

brianReflecting over 31 years of ministry here at Faith Christian Academy/Jesus Center School, memories too numerous to pen flood through my mind. It has been such an awesome experience to be a part of a vibrant and fruitful ministry to young people, seeing the Holy Spirit shape and transform the lives of thousands of students working through faithful teachers, coaches, administrators and staff members alike! I am humbled and privileged to have served with such a faithful and godly staff who passionately love Jesus and the students to whom they minister each day.

brainSometimes it is those random acts of kindness that have the greatest impact in our lives. Over 2000 years ago when most people least expected it God, in His great mercy reached out to man, sending His Son Jesus into the world as an infant, to save us all from our sins.  Our Heavenly Father’s random (to man) act of kindness continues to inspire and transform the human race today and will continue to bring life for millions into eternity. I pray that each of you has a blessed Christmas celebration this season!

brainJust before going to the cross in the greatest act of unconditional love ever recorded in human history, Jesus prayed a profound prayer not only on behalf of his immediate disciples, but on behalf of all who would ultimately end up trusting Him for Salvation: “I in them and you in me-so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” John 17:23

brainRecently, I shared with our staff at the end of the year Exit Lunch that in so many ways, this year at Faith Christian personified the clash of two kingdoms, God’s and Satan’s. While we saw Jesus, through the power of His Spirit advancing, transforming and blessing the lives of staff, students and families within our Faith Christian Community, at the same time we saw the enemy quickly pushing back against students, staff members and families as well.

brianWhether we are news information consumers or not, I believe most of us have a sense that we are living in perilous times. Perils may be linked to terrorism, economic uncertainty, the pressure of moral decay upon us as Christ followers in our nation, or maybe personal challenges we are experiencing within our own families.

Regardless of peril’s source, God through the Psalmist has shared with us a wonderful promise found in Psalm 91:1-2,“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”
